Does the deposit come out of the package price?
Yes! The deposit is part of your package price, it is not an additional cost. However, it is non-refundable in order to hold your date.
How do I download my video?
I supply all my clients with a flash drive that contains the final full video and highlight video. I will also send the link to download the full video from my Vimeo account, as well as the highlight video.
How long will the return time be?
My clients can expect their wedding films 4 – 8 weeks after their wedding date. If you’d like a faster turn-around, we can incorporate that timing into your contract. Often times I post highlights and sneak peeks on my social media, so keep an eye out for yours!
Can I choose my music?
Typically, I choose the music due to licensing. Artists and label companies have ownership of their music, which means that all songs must be licensed through a certified and appropriate website database. If your film contains music that isn’t licensed, then it can be taken down from social media channels and the owners of the music can sue. If you prefer a certain genre of music, then of course I love to incorporate that into the film. I always select music that suits the mood of the film.
Do you capture the audio?
I always record the audio for every wedding that I film. Audio is the most important part of the ceremony and reception, and I make sure to get audio from the vows, officiant, speeches, and other important parts of the wedding.
Do you travel?
I love to travel and am consistently traveling to film weddings throughout the Midwest and West. To date, I have filmed weddings in California, Utah, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan, and am always looking to venture outside of my stomping grounds.
Do you have a travel fee?
If your wedding venue is 3 hours or less away from Chicago, I do not charge a travel fee. If your wedding takes place more than 3 hours drive from Chicago, please get in touch for an estimate.
How do you backup your work?
I take extra precautions so that I don’t lose any work. I backup my work three different ways: through SD card, on my computer, and on a backup drive.
